This April, NEWS launched its countywide “WE BELIEVE.” Sexual Assault Awareness Month campaign, focused on visibility, prevention, survivor support, and community connection.
Throughout the month, local businesses, schools, community partners, and residents helped amplify messages centered on consent, respect, boundaries, and believing survivors through window clings, awareness materials, digital outreach, and community conversations.
The month also included NEWS 4th Annual Walk-A-Mile Napa Valley, where community members gather at The Napa Yard to be together in support of survivors and prevention efforts through music, art, advocacy, and collective action.
Together, these efforts helped create visible reminders throughout Napa County that survivors are supported, believed, and not alone.
