This past February, NEWS launched “I’d Peel an Orange for You,” a countywide Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month campaign focused on kindness, care, and healthy relationships.
Inspired by the Orange Peel Theory and the national TDVAM color orange, youth across Napa County participated in Orange Love Notes activations, Nimbus NIM-BUS art experiences, and a community youth art exhibit at The River Club and Nimbus Napa Riverside Studio.
Through art, creativity, and conversation, students helped spark meaningful discussions around respect, boundaries, and healthy connection. 
More youth-centered prevention and creative community campaigns are coming in the year ahead.
