Sexual Assault Awareness Month | April WE BELIEVE Napa

Events

This April, during Sexual Assault Awareness Month, NEWS Domestic Violence & Sexual Abuse Services is inviting the Napa County community to take part in the WE BELIEVE Napa campaign.

Throughout the month, local businesses will display WE BELIEVE window clings in their storefronts as a visible reminder that survivors are supported here. These simple words carry powerful meaning. For someone who has experienced sexual violence, seeing “WE BELIEVE” in their community can be the first signal that they are not alone.

Sexual violence affects people in every community. By participating in WE BELIEVE Napa, businesses, organizations, and neighbors help create a culture where survivors are supported, consent matters, and prevention is possible.

Throughout April, NEWS will also be sharing resources, outreach materials, and ways for the community to learn more about how we can all play a role in building safer homes, schools, and workplaces.

Because when a community says WE BELIEVE, it helps survivors find the courage to seek support.
