Creating communities free from violence begins with knowledge, connection, and shared responsibility. At NEWS, prevention means more than responding after harm occurs. Through education, outreach, and partnership, we work to build awareness, strengthen healthy relationships, and address the conditions that allow violence to happen. Our prevention and education programs serve schools, workplaces, organizations, and community groups throughout Napa County.

Community Education

Everyone has a role in preventing violence.
We provide engaging, trauma-informed education to help community members recognize abuse, respond safely, and support survivors with care and respect.
