Make an Annual Investment in NEWS to become a
NEWS Community Champion!

NEWS believes that domestic violence (DV) and sexual abuse (SA) are public health concerns that affect not only the well-being and success of individuals, but also the community as a whole. We have served Napa County since 1981, providing shelter, crisis counseling, and case support to DV/SA survivors to help them be safe and live a life free from violence. Each year, we commemorate four awareness months to honor our survivors, increase our community’s understanding of the impact of intimate partner violence, and empower the community to end the cycle of violence. These awareness months are:

◼️ Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM) in October

◼️ Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month (TDVAM) in February

◼️ Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) in April

◼️ Child Abuse Prevention Awareness Month (CAPAM) in April

NEWS seeks local businesses to make an annual investment and become NEWS Community Champions. Annual donors make a statement and take a stand to support domestic violence and sexual abuse survivors in the Napa community. Your support will allow NEWS to conduct survivor and community outreach during each awareness month, promote our work to survivors, and generally support our everyday operations. NEWS Community Champions enable NEWS to continue to provide meaningful services to DV/SA survivors and their families.

Donations made to NEWS are tax deductible. Our tax ID number is 94-2745889. Your donations go directly to helping victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
