NEWS

Since we purchased our first confidential shelter in 1981, we have believed that no person should face intimate partner violence alone. Over the past 40 years, we have stood by our survivors’ sides to provide them with medical, financial, and emotional assistance so they can emerge from their trauma and live a life free from violence. It is with community support like yours that makes NEWS capable of meeting the needs of our clients and helping those most vulnerable in our community.

In honor of our 40th Anniversary, we ask you, our community,
to honor our survivors and their families by
pledging a factor of $40 for 40 Years of NEWS.

This special ask is in addition to our regular, annual giving campaigns,
so we hope you will join us during this very special year!

Help us raise $10,000 by October 31!!

Funds raised between now and October 31 will help house
DV survivors in need of emergency shelter.

As COVID-19 rages on, we continue to house DV victims and their families in hotel rooms to ensure their safety and health—from both abuse and the coronavirus.

Help us raise $10,000 by the end of October to support 10 more families in need of a confidential and safe home following abuse!

Our special campaign lasts through June 2022,
so consider making a sustaining pledge!

If you are experiencing abuse or would just like some information, please call our help line, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Become a NEWS Community Champion!

NEWS seeks local businesses to make an annual investment and become NEWS Community Champions. As we commemorate four awareness months to honor our survivors and increase awareness of the impact of intimate partner violence, we ask Annual donors to make a statement and take a stand to support domestic violence and sexual abuse survivors in the Napa community.
