NEWS

Since NEWS launched in 1981, our services and budget have grown exponentially. This growth has built our capacity to serve more domestic violence and sexual abuse survivors in Napa County, and take giant leaps forward to launch new programs for our community.

As we celebrated our 40th holiday season helping families, your love and support was overwhelming. You helped us exceed our 2021 end-of-year fundraising goals and you brightened 65 families' holiday season with gifts. Your contributions help us grow our services and programs to serve those most vulnerable in Napa. Thank you to ALL who have given so generously this holiday season, and year.

Every single one of you are a part of our story. Thank you for being a part of our NEWS family. Learn more about the Story of NEWS here

With respect,

Andi Grote, NEWS Development Director

Every holiday season, NEWS organizes an "Adopt a Family" drive for families experiencing domestic violence and sexual abuse. Our families write up "wish lists" that generous donors purchase and then wrap in festive paper and ribbon. NEWS "elves" distribute the gifts to clients the week before Christmas, providing our families with the courage, love, and joy they deserve during the holiday season.

This year, 65 families, including 122 children, received gifts from our generous donors. Thank you to all who helped brighten our families' holiday season - you warmed our hearts!
