That’s a wrap on DVAM! What an eventful month celebrating our survivors and commemorating their commitment to gaining a life free from violence. We enjoyed the opportunities to engage with you, our community, to make this October a special one.
And guess what! You helped us not only meet but surpass our $5,000 Fund a Need goal for our emergency shelter! This incredible milestone means more than just numbers; it signifies the power of community, compassion, and a shared commitment to making a positive impact. Thanks to your generosity, we're better equipped to provide a safe haven for those in need. Together, we're building a brighter, more caring future. Cheers to everyone who made this possible!
Sunshine Café, 1540 Trancas Street, Napa, has organized a Saturday, November 4th, Pancake Breakfast event to support two local non-profits, NEWS and The Bridge! Tickets are $20 per plate, $5 of which will be donated to NEWS. We’ll be there to spread awareness about domestic and sexual abuse in our community, so stop by, grab a bite to eat and say hello!
