STRONGER TOGETHER

As we look ahead to 2024, we have confidence and resolve in our mission. This giving season, we saw you, our community, step up to our call for support - your end-of-year giving exceeded our ask and has put us on track to meet our annual goals. These crucial dollars go to funding our life-saving programs, providing shelter, food, clothing, court advocacy, children's programs, and more to our domestic violence and sexual abuse survivors.

We always say it, but we feel it is always true, especially after such a generous season of giving: your support reminds us that our survivors are not alone, and that the Napa community is stronger together.

Wishing you and yours a safe and healthy 2024!

Sincerely,
Tracy Lamb, NEWS Executive Director

Every holiday season, we organize an "Adopt a Family" drive for families experiencing domestic violence and sexual abuse. Our families write up "wish lists" that generous donors purchase and then wrap in festive paper and ribbon. The gifts give our families the confidence, love, and joy they deserve during the holiday season.

This past Christmas, 60 families, including 130 children, received gifts from our generous donors.

"I had a client whose CalWORKs was stolen and she expressed to me that it felt like Christmas was over this year. When she saw the amount of gifts that her Adopt a Family donor gave to her children, she told me this is the most hope she’s ever felt during the holiday season." ~Kassy, Crisis Intervention Services Program Manager

Thank you to all who helped brighten our families' holiday season - you warmed our hearts!

If you are experiencing abuse or would just like some information, please call our help line, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
