Stewards of Children

It is with great excitement that we announce that Tracy Leonard, a trainer with the Darkness to Light foundation, will be coming to NEWS in April to host a Stewards of Children training for our community. In honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month/Child Abuse Prevention Month and in response to the increase in child physical and sexual abuse we are experiencing in Napa, this training will teach participants how to prevent, recognize and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. Stewards of Children is the only nationally available program scientifically proven to increase knowledge, improve attitudes and change child-protective behaviors.  And lucky for us, Tracy is coming to offer this COMPLIMENTARY to our community.

The training will be held on Tuesday, April 14th from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm in the Schafer Room at The Napa Valley Vintners Health building (OLE Health), 1141 Pear Tree Lane, Napa.
