Lunafest Young Women's Art Exhibit
Invitation to Young Women Artists
Soroptimist International of St. Helena Sunrise, is holding an Art Exhibit at Lincoln Theatre on March 24, 2016. We are inviting college and high school female artists to submit a piece of art work, for review by club members, to display at our fundraiser. Twelve pieces will be selected. This is a great opportunity for young artists to have their work displayed for hundreds of viewers. The artists will have free admission. A cash prize and certificate will be awarded to the artist whom the participants of the fundraiser choose.
The fundraiser is Lunafest, a mini film festival. It premieres one night only at 7:00 pm. This thought provoking traveling film festival takes a look at women and girls lives through the lens of six women directors.
Additional tickets may be purchased for $40/$15(student), at the Lincoln Theatre website, www.lincolntheatre.com. A pre-reception with hors d’ourves and drinks will be offered from 6:15-7:00 pm. Local recipients for this fundraiser are Girls on the Run Napa and Solano, Napa Emergency Women Services, Soroptimist International St. Helena Sunrise and Breast Cancer Fund.
