A New Bed for a Fresh Start ~ A NEWS Donation Program ~

New BedA "Soft Place to Land" is a new program designed to provide brand new beds to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Many times, families escaping a violent home leave with only what they can carry in one bag, or what they can fit into the trunk of their car. At NEWS we understand the importance of not only supporting these families in finding new safe homes, but also making sure they have a clean and comfortable place to sleep. We also understand that many sexual assault victims are abused in their own beds, the trauma of having to sleep in that same bed night after night can often times bring back unbearable memories.

We are excited to be partnering with Sleep City here in Napa! They are incredibly supportive of this program and can’t wait to participate! The beds will be of high quality and will be delivered free by Sleep City as part of our agreement. Very exciting!
