Bridges Out of Poverty

March 25 and 26, 2015
8:30am - 4:30pm
500 First Street. Napa

Presented by the Economic Self Sufficiency Sub Committee of the Napa Valley Coalition of Non-Profit Agencies.

  • Learn about the dynamics that cause and maintain poverty
  • Explore tools and strategies to prevent, reduce, and end poverty
  • Be a part of an ongoing discussion about reducing poverty in Napa

Hello Community Partners,

The 2013 Napa Community Health Assessment included data indicating that income inequality and poverty are linked to negative health outcomes in our community. Addressing socioeconomic status as one social determinant of health is an important part of improving the health and well-being of all people in Napa County.

I invite you to participate in a two-day training event called “Bridges out of Poverty” in which stakeholders will learn about the structures that create and maintain poverty. In developing a mutual understanding of poverty, we will be situated to engage in long-term planning to reduce and prevent poverty in Napa County.

For more information about the event AND to register, please click HERE.

Thanks!
